Description
Circles is a moving solo piece for 5 soloists in 5 different keys (as the circle of fifths) in 5 different styles.
It is written for Bart Claessens, Joseph Alessi, Nico Schippers, Martin Schippers and Brian Hecht.
It was premiered at the International Thailand Trombone Festival in 2024.
How to play:
There are 5 music stands on stage. The introduction starts in one line next to each other.
Stand 1 has to be taken to the front after the Intro.
There starts the 1ste solo.
After every solo, players should rotate (while playing) to the next stand.
When to rotate is indicated on the sheet music.
There is time for every soloist to go to the front (without playing) and to go back afterwards.
After the last solo (trombone 5), players should stay at their position and end in 1 line.
