Rapsalon Fanfare was originally composed for the Brass of the Rotterdam Philharmonic.
At the opening of the new Central Station in Rotterdam, this Fanfare was played for Willem Alexander, King of the Netherlands.
The word Rapsalon is a composition of Rotterdam and Kapsalon.
Kapsalon was the nickname of the new station because of its specific architecture. It has the form of a typical and popular Dutch Food item.
Steven adapted the originally composition for Low Brass.
