The River Bells – Trombone Octet

Category: Trombone Octet
  • Description

Description

The River Bells was written for Dr. Bradley Palmer and the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University.

The piece refers partly to the River Park, which is part of the Colombus State University.
But also to the ‘Bell’ of the trombone.  The ringing sound of the trombone bells in the chords came to mind all the time while writing this composition.
Also with the main theme ‘Bells’ were ringing inside the composer’s head.

Imagina a trombone choir, playing at the River Park at Colombus State University.
