Both players are being challenged to show their outstanding technique in the first part.
In the lyrical section, the range of both instruments is exposed to its maximum.
After the introduction reappears, all themes are gathered in a spectacular finale.
This duet pushes both players to their limits and shows the trombone in all its characters.
