Description
Trombone Quartet N° 2 was originally commissioned by the Aaron Trombone Quartet.
Thomas Bousquié, Andréa Calcagno, Brian Damide and Maxence Moercant founded the Aaron Quartet.
It was adapted for Trombone Quartet and Concert Band for the Virtuoso Trombone Ensemble and premiered in Jeju in 2024.
The quartet displays 3 different movements.
The first movement is a medieval dance.
The second a lyrical song that floats between the 4 different voices.
The third and last movement is a technical dance in 12/8 bar.
