Freedom was written for Jeroen Schippers, principal trumpet player at the Royal Navy Marine Band in the Netherlands.
This piece for trumpet and piano describes the ultimate freedom of playing and mindset while making music. A feeling all musicians strive during their lifetime.
It was premiered at in Portugal in 2024.
