Starlight Universe was written for the Southeast Trombone Symposium and the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University.
This lightning piece takes us on a journey through universe.
Imagine flying to the moon, traveling through space. The grandeur, the timeless feeling, soaring, floating… all in one piece.
And while you travel in space, you look down on earth and watch our planet as a small element in universe.
You get insecure, small, helpless, … but gravity doesn’t bring you down. You keep floating further away into the unknown.
